Even more sadly, there's not much in these results that wasn't predicted in New Yorker magazine in the months just prior to our war against Iraq... if not in detail, at least in the broad sense of things. In fact, about the only result of our criminal assault on Iraq that was a surprise was the horror of the Abu Ghraib revelations.
